Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

FAQ:

Q: What do the different colors/symbols on the map mean?
A: Grey means a charger is level 1, green means a charger is level 2, and orange means a charger is level 3. A “No Entry” symbol means the charger is private, and a wrench means the operational status of the charger is unknown or offline.

Q: How do I add comments/photos to a location?
A: To add a comment, select the location by clicking/tapping the charger icon. Select the “Comments” tab, and click/tap “Add Comment”. To add a photo, select the “Photos” tab and click/tap “Add Photo”. You can also just tap the green ‘+’ button at the top right and several options will appear, such as Add Comment, Add Photo, Edit etc.

A: Click/tap on the menu icon in the top left corner. Select Add Location (you may be asked to sign in), and enter the information you have. Alternatively, position the map so the blue marker is exactly where the charging location is, then tap the blue marker to being adding the new location.

Q: How do I remove a location?
A: Select the location by clicking/tapping the charger icon. Select Edit, and click/tap the “Next” icon twice in the bottom right of the pop-up box. You should now be at the “Info” tab. Additionally, I noticed this post: Icon legend in FAQ mentioned an FAQ. I couldn’t seem to find one, but if there is one, I could rebuilt my list of FAQs around the original.

Wow, thanks, this is great! Let’s use this post as the starting point, I’ll pin it for others to see.

Great! Hopefully I can add some photos to it to help make things more clear.

Here is a suggestion, could you add a different color/shape for High Power chargers (for example from 90kW or higher). It could be a different color or just more thunder symbols inside. This will help to visualize where are these chargers more suitable for charging on long routes, as most of the fast chargers (level 3) are usually 50kW trios.

Redundancy is just as important as power. I’d like to see some sort of coding that indicates a station with multiple chargers.
