A glitch or hack?

Hello,

Yesterday, when I was adding a new station from Eşarj, I noticed that the equipment information on almost all of their DC stations is wrong.

I believe I added most of them on OCM and I have always been paying great attention to detail.

Is it possible that someone intentionally changed all these information, or is it caused by importing from another source and overwriting on what I have created?

Anyway, this is how it looks now:

  1. Connection type: CHAdeMO
    Charging level: Medium (Over 2kW)
    Operational status: (None Selected)
    Supply type: (None Selected)

  2. Connection type: CHAdeMO
    Charging level: Medium (Over 2kW)
    Operational status: (None Selected)
    Supply type: (None Selected)

  3. Connection type: CHAdeMO
    Charging level: Medium (Over 2kW)
    Operational status: (None Selected)
    Supply type: (None Selected)

And this is how it should look:

  1. Connection type: CHAdeMO
    Charging level: High (Over 40kW)
    Operational status: Operational
    Supply type: DC

  2. Connection type: CCS (Type 2)
    Charging level: High (Over 40kW)
    Operational status: Operational
    Supply type: DC

  3. Connection type: Type 2 (Socket Only)
    Charging level: Medium (Over 2kW)
    Operational status: Operational
    Supply type: AC (Three-Phase)

If you could fix them in bulk that would be great!

I think we may have had a glitch in our API results, can you check a few of these again? I don’t see any unusual edits for that location (just your own one recently).

Finally I found out why!

Someone else created the exact same stations, only with a false equipment info.

For instance:
Station name: EŞARJ - M1 KONYA AVM
This is the one I added: https://openchargemap.org/site/poi/details/161144
This is the one somebody else added: https://openchargemap.org/site/poi/details/165271

If you could remove the duplicates, it should be fine.

Great, we do encourage users not to add duplicates but they’re difficult to prevent entirely. Thanks for figuring it out.
